My Top 7 Songs of the Week

Before I show you guys all the songs I have for this week, I just wanted to start off by saying that I am truly sorry for not uploading for almost a year. I’ve been really busy and to make it up to all of you this week I am going to give you my top 7 songs of the week.  Usually as you have probably noticed, I only upload my top 5 but as I said to make it up to you guys here are my top 7 songs of the week!!!!

My Top 7 Songs of the Week:
1.    Centuries by Fall Out Boy
2.    First Flight Home by Jake Miller
3.    Animals by Maroon 5
4.    Voodoo Doll by 5SOS
5.    Amnesia by 5SOS
6.    Maps by Maroon 5
7.   Don’t by Ed Sheeran

1. Centuries by Fall Out Boy
To start my list off I definitely had to put one of my jams on it, So I decided to put my top jam on which just happens to be, Centuries by Fall Out Boy. The first time I heard this song what caught my attention was the chorus:
“Some Legends are told some turn to dust and to gold
But you will remember me (remember me)
For Centuries”
This song immediately turned into my jam of the week and has been for a while. I HIGHLY recommend that if you haven’t heard this song yet to check out the song, and if you have heard it well then just watch and listen to it again by clicking here.

2. First Flight Home by Jake Miller
Jake Miller’s song really makes me feel happy just because it does. Maybe it’s because of the lyrics, the melody, or just the singing, but I have to say that I absolutely LOVE this song so check it out right here.

3. Animals by Maroon 5
Maroon 5 will forever be my favorite band of all time and they will probably always make it onto my list of top songs of the week. My reasoning is that they have an awesome lead singer, Adam Levine, and that their music is always really catchy and makes me sing even when I’m running on the treadmill and out of breath. Plus you have to admit Adam’s “Owwww” thing sounds really cool in this song so if you haven’t heard it yet or you just love the song as much as I do check it out right there (I bet you thought I was going to put “here” right? Well sorry but #SorryNotSorry).

4. Voodoo Doll by 5SOS
Ahhhh what can I say about 5SOS except that Luke is bae. Nah just kidding they didn’t make it on my list just because Luke is my bae. They actually made it on here because I really like this song because it showcases what all of the members –Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Ashton Irwin, and Calum Hood- can really do as artists. In my opinion this song is layed out in such a way that all of the members can show off their talents by having their own special little part. Sooooo, if you want to see some good talent check them out… right about            here.

5. Amnesia by 5SOS
Oh Luke you made it on here again!!! I chose to put them on this list again because this song almost made me cry. I find the message to be so beautiful that I can’t even put my emotions into words. So I’ll just leave it at that and here is the music (lyric) video.

6. Maps by Maroon 5
And we are back with Maroon 5 but this time with a different song. I chose to place this song on my list because I just love the vocals in this message and the music video because it seems like it could be a movie, a very short one but alas a movie. Therefore you can look at this masterpiece right here (and did you really think I was going to put the link on the word here in the sentence above? Awww poor person).
7. Don’t by Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran has so many wonderful songs that I couldn’t decide on which one but I finally decided on this one. I chose it because I love the way he sings and I just love the chorus of this song so check it out!!

Thank you so much for checking my list out and let me know if you agree with my selection for this week and also if you don’t because I would love to hear everyone’s opinion, and see ya later!!!!!!!!!!!

My Top 5 Songs of the Week #3

Top Songs of the Week:
  1. Nice Guys By: Chester See and Ryan Higa
  2. Remember When (Push Rewind) By: Chris Wallace
  3. Tangled By: Maroon 5
  4. My Wish By: Rascal Flatts
  5. Fortune Teller By: Maroon 5
This week I decided to show you guys one of my favorite songs of all the time that has a funny video. "Nice Guys" By Chester See and Ryan Higa is my favorite song on Ryan's YouTube channel. This is one of my favorite songs because it is funny, but still has a sweet spot close to end. I have to say that one of my favorite lines is "I never open a door or pull out a chair, you can tell me how your day was, but I don't really care, and if you ever get cold you'll just have to hack it cause I'd be cold too of I gave you my jacket." "Nice Guys" is definitely a hilarious song that has the power to brighten up anyone's day.
"Remember When" is a great song that anyone can relate to. This song is basically talking about a guy who is remembering what his girlfriend and him used to do before they broke up. He even remembers when they stole her dad's car. This is when he says "Do you remember when we stole your dad's car, I never thought we'd take it that far yeah we were flying so high yeah partners in crime so why'd we ever say goodbye." Although this song is a little bit sad because you can feel his pain, you can still see and feel the good times that he had with his ex girlfriend.
Maroon 5 has always been my favorite band, and the song "Tangled" is one of the reasons why. "Tangle" is basically about a guy who did some bad things to a girl which he now regrets. In this song he compares himself to an insect while she is just "a helpless victim of a spider's web." This song can relate to almost all of us who have done some things we regret, and are scared to even face the person we harmed. I believe that this song is fitting for everyone, and if it isn't right for you well I congratulate you.
Rascal Flatts has made many great songs but "My Wish" is absolutely one of their more touching songs. This song is about a guy whose girlfriend has to make many difficult choices. He is helping her choose by saying things like "And if you're faced with a choice and you have to choose I hope you choose the one that means the most to you." "My Wish" is a very touching song that could make anyone tear up a little.
"Fortune Teller" is another song by the great band known as... Maroon 5. This song makes me laugh a little because it reminds me of one of my family members. When someone asks him a question like "What do you think will happen?" and he will answer "What do I look like a fortune teller?" Maroon 5 has made another song that makes it into my top songs.

My Top 5 Songs of the Week #2

Top Songs of the Week:
  1. Endlessly By: The CAB
  2. The Way You Look Tonight By: Maroon 5 (a Frank Sinatra Cover)
  3. Demons By: Imagine Dragons
  4. 50 Ways To Say Goodbye By: Train
  5. Forever and Always By: Parachute
As usual all of us music lovers know that sometimes the best songs are a bit older. In fact, most of us have favorite songs that are really old, but still remain at the top of our list.
The #1 spot on my list this week goes out to...(drum roll please) The CAB with their song Endlessly. The Cab has many great songs that you'll probably be hearing from on My Top 5 Songs of the Week. Endlessly is a song about a guy who is willing to do anything for a girl he likes. This guy is also saying that although they are both different he knows that he is perfect for her. This song is very sweet and I would imagine that anyone could fall in love with this song.
Maroon 5 has also made it to my list with their cover of Frank Sinatra's The Way You Look Tonight. This song was in the movie "Valentine's Day." The Way You Look Tonight is a classic in the music world, and if you have not heard it I stand with most people who would say... you have not lived.
Imagine Dragons has made another great song, called Demons. In this song the character is trying to say that you should stay a way from him because he is not a good person on the inside. this is shown when a part in the song says "Don't get too close it's dark inside it's where my demons hide it's where my demons hide." Demons is a great song that is not long, but can make you remember it due to its catchy melody.
Train has another great song called 50 Ways To Say Goodbye. Originally this song was called 50 Ways To Say You Died, but they had to change the title. Their original song title makes more sense considering that some of the lyrics go like this "She went down in an airplane fried getting suntan fell in a cement mixer full of quicksand."
Forever and Always By: Parachute is a great yet, sad and touching song. This song is basically narrating a situation in which people around the world have experienced. Forever and Always talks about a woman who gets a call from the hospital that her fiance has been injured. She then goes to the hospital, but even though she does many things to try to keep him with her he ends up dying after saying "I'll love you forever, forever and always please just remember even if I'm not there I'll always love you, forever and always."

My Top 5 Songs of the Week #1

Top Songs of the Week:
  1. Counting Stars By: One Republic
  2. Hurt By: Christina Aguilera
  3. I Told You So By: Carrie Underwood
  4. My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark By: Fall Out Boy
  5. Starlight By: Muse
Now I know that if you know your music you would have realized that these songs are outdated, whether its by a lot or a little.
Counting Stars by One Republic is my top song right now because of its catchy tune and catchy lyrics. I have to say my favorite lyric would have to be "Old, but I'm not that old. Young, but I'm not that bold, and I don't think the world is sold. I'm just doing what we're told..." This song is great to lift you up when you are sad or just feel like being a bit more happy than usual.
Hurt by Christina Aguilera is a great song despite its sad lyrics. This song can be interpreted in any way you think is correct, but I have to say that I believe it is telling us something very important. It tells us to make sure that we treat people right because we never know when it could be the last time we see them. This can be better explained with its lyrics, "Oh, I'm sorry for blaming you everything I just couldn't do, and I've hurt myself for hurting you."
I Told You So by Carrie Underwood is also a very good song. The name basically implies what it is talking about, except she is the one receiving the words "I Told You So." This song is very catchy even though it could make some people a bit sad. I Told You So can teach us life lessons that could take us years to even understand, such as thinking before you act.
Fall Out Boy is not usually my type of music, but I have to admit that the first time I heard it... I couldn't get it out of my head for a long time. This song is very fun with its fast lyrics, and catching melody. The best part would have to be when he says "Fire!" This can be very fun to try to sing when you have nothing to do, I recommend that you try it.
Starlight is my last top song of the week, this song is sang by a great band called Muse. If you never heard of them before I really recommend you to look them up. Starlight is a fun song to try to sing because it has lots of ups and downs in the pitch. Muse has some very difficult songs, but Starlight is definitely one of the more fun ones to sing.
