My Top 5 Songs of the Week #3

Top Songs of the Week:
  1. Nice Guys By: Chester See and Ryan Higa
  2. Remember When (Push Rewind) By: Chris Wallace
  3. Tangled By: Maroon 5
  4. My Wish By: Rascal Flatts
  5. Fortune Teller By: Maroon 5
This week I decided to show you guys one of my favorite songs of all the time that has a funny video. "Nice Guys" By Chester See and Ryan Higa is my favorite song on Ryan's YouTube channel. This is one of my favorite songs because it is funny, but still has a sweet spot close to end. I have to say that one of my favorite lines is "I never open a door or pull out a chair, you can tell me how your day was, but I don't really care, and if you ever get cold you'll just have to hack it cause I'd be cold too of I gave you my jacket." "Nice Guys" is definitely a hilarious song that has the power to brighten up anyone's day.
"Remember When" is a great song that anyone can relate to. This song is basically talking about a guy who is remembering what his girlfriend and him used to do before they broke up. He even remembers when they stole her dad's car. This is when he says "Do you remember when we stole your dad's car, I never thought we'd take it that far yeah we were flying so high yeah partners in crime so why'd we ever say goodbye." Although this song is a little bit sad because you can feel his pain, you can still see and feel the good times that he had with his ex girlfriend.
Maroon 5 has always been my favorite band, and the song "Tangled" is one of the reasons why. "Tangle" is basically about a guy who did some bad things to a girl which he now regrets. In this song he compares himself to an insect while she is just "a helpless victim of a spider's web." This song can relate to almost all of us who have done some things we regret, and are scared to even face the person we harmed. I believe that this song is fitting for everyone, and if it isn't right for you well I congratulate you.
Rascal Flatts has made many great songs but "My Wish" is absolutely one of their more touching songs. This song is about a guy whose girlfriend has to make many difficult choices. He is helping her choose by saying things like "And if you're faced with a choice and you have to choose I hope you choose the one that means the most to you." "My Wish" is a very touching song that could make anyone tear up a little.
"Fortune Teller" is another song by the great band known as... Maroon 5. This song makes me laugh a little because it reminds me of one of my family members. When someone asks him a question like "What do you think will happen?" and he will answer "What do I look like a fortune teller?" Maroon 5 has made another song that makes it into my top songs.

My Top 3 Movies of 2013

Top 3 Movies of 2013:

1. The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones

2. The Call
The Call (2013)

3. World War Z
World War Z (2013) Poster

Now that it is the month of December I wanted to dedicate a post to a few of the many great movies that came out in the wonderful year of... 2013. December brings around the coldness, but also lets us know that a new year is coming. A new year full of great new experiences, and more great movies. Today I decided to dedicate this year's top 3 movies, to some of my favorites. These being "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones", "The Call", and "World War Z".
My top movie of the year would have to be "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones". This movie was almost equal to its book "City of Bones" and had a few things that convinced me to put it as #1 on my list. First of all, this movie had great actors, great effects, great plot, and (saving the best for last) great action scenes. Jamie Campbell Bower and Lily Collins were the main actors of this movie and in my opinion were chosen for the right roles. If you have not seen this movie yet I recommend you see it. It should be out in your choice of DVD rental location because it came out on December 3rd.
"The Call" was very close to becoming my top 2013 movie, but I knew I wouldn't want "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" to not get that spot. Halle Berry was part of the reason that made "The Call" one of my top movies. She was a great choice of actress to play the character named Jordan Turner. Halle played the role of a 911 operator, and risked everything to save Casey Welson (Abigail Breslin) from being hurt and killed by Michael Foster (Micheal Eklund). "The Call" was a great movie for everyone who loves watching suspense and drama movies.
I know that most of us love supernatural movies, and we all love zombie movies. That is why I chose "World War Z" as my 3rd top movie of 2013. Brad Pitt has yet again starred in another great movie. This time he was a critical person to save the world from a zombie invasion. He risked his life to save everyone in the world, and even the zombies that were changing people. "World War Z" is definitely a great movie for anyone who is not frightened very easily.
I hope most of you agree with my choices, and if you have any movie recommendations for me I'll be happy to at least see part of them (depending on how scared I could get).

Moments of Life #1

Awkward/True Moments of Life:

  1. That amazing feeling when you hear a song you haven't heard in years and you still remember every word
  2. Holding back a smile or a laugh because you are supposed to be mad at someone
  3. That awkward moment when you are eating chips in a quiet room.
  4. Harry Potter fans: I want to go to Hogwarts. Narnia Fans: I want to go to Narnia. Hunger Games fans: Nope, I'm good.
  5. Staring at a text for 15 minutes, trying to figure out how to respond.
Now I know that you are all wondering why I decided to make a post dedicated to the awkward/ true moments in life. My answer is that they happen all the time, and sometimes we don't even realize it until we read them in writing. So I decided to give a spotlight and round of applause to these great moments.
These five moments could have even happened to you today. I know that these have happened to me on many occasions, well except for number four. I actually had never thought about it until I conducted my extensive search for moments of life. At one point in life one of these has happened, and don't even try to deny it.
Life is something that we shouldn't take for granted, but we should make the most of it. One of the ways I do this is by laughing every day. If you are ever feeling down take out your Smartphone, computer, iPad, iPod, or iPad mini and look up funny jokes. You can even talk to your friends, which I'm pretty sure will come up with something dumb/ funny to do (Not saying that you should do something dumb, make wise decisions!).
I hope that this post has brightened up your day/night, and made you laugh or at least chuckle. Let me know if you have more awkward/true moments of life, and they will probably be in the future "Moments of Life!" Now go out or stay in, and have many great days in the future days to come!
